U.S. Green Building Council

The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), co-founded by Rick Fedrizzi, Mike Italiano, and David Gottfried in 1993, is a private 501(c)3, membership-based non-profit organization that promotes sustainability in buildings design, construction, and operation. USGBC is best known for its development of the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) green building rating systems and its annual Greenbuild International Conference and Expo, the world’s largest conference and expo dedicated to green building. USGBC was one of eight national councils that helped found the World Green Building Council (WorldGBC). Mr Mahesh Ramanujam has become the new CEO of USGBC by taking charge in November 2016.

The U.S. Green Building Council is one of many companies that choose skytech solar to be the preferred solar provider for their employee community buy-in.  The process of choosing skytech solar was done using a RFP to all solar installers in the bay area.  The factors were based on supplier costs, customer service, engineering, installation, quality products, years in business and references.

We are delighted to offer employees, friends and families of employees who live in our bay area territory, the community 15% discount that was prearranged through this RFP process.  Please fill out the following form or call us at 415-826-2503 to speak to a solar consultant and get a free individualized proposal.
